Ian has been a resident of Arizona since 1995. He is married to Jan and together they are the parents of nine children and five grandchildren. They reside in Gilbert, Arizona. Ian was raised in the Navy town of Bremerton, Washington and is the youngest of six children.
During and after High School he was employed as a seasonal laborer in Hawaii, on the island of Lanai, planting pineapple for the Dole Corporation. After three seasons in Hawaii he spent two years in northern Germany on a church service mission. While in Germany he lived in Berlin for six months and had opportunities to travel through the Berlin Wall and East Germany on a monthly basis. This first hand exposure to communism continues to influence his thinking and positions on the freedoms we enjoy as American citizens. After returning to the United States Ian attended Brigham Young University. Starting in maintenance at a shopping mall, Ian has spent the last 28 years working to provide for his family and has had the privilege of working with some of the best and largest corporations in America. Ian brings over thirteen years of executive experience from industries as diverse as outsourcing, publishing, software, foreign currency exchange and technology.
He currently heads a management consulting firm and advises companies on growth strategies, customer performance initiatives, marketing automation and business process improvement. Ian is a seasoned business executive with experience managing operations in the United States, Canada, England and Japan.
