Principles & Values
Why do I care about principles and values?  It’s really quite simple…

Many of our government leaders today make decisions based on what fits their mood of the moment, the party line or worse, they blatantly use extortion and accept bribes and call it “political compromise.”  This method of decision making is offensive to the office they hold and violates the trust of the people they represent.

My hope is to bring about the privileges and protection of principles, while discarding the practices of politics.  This is why it’s important to establish a framework of principles that I will use in making decisions and casting votes on issues that come before the Senate.

I like to sleep with a clear conscience at night and feel the need for protection that comes from adhering to sound principles.  Protection from what you might ask?  Corruption and abuse of power - this is what we have today and we desperately need a return to principled leadership.
