Protection of Property, Life and Individual Freedom
If it is not legal for me to take the property of my neighbor and give it to someone else, why would I think it is okay to ask the government to take their property on my behalf?  Government is a representative of “we the people.”  As a result, the obligation of government to protect my property remains intact even when government is given the right to tax.  This obligation to protect property exists for all levels of government; Federal, State and Local.

Collectively, as citizens of this nation, we need the Federal government to protect our lives.  We also need State and Local government to protect our lives.  This includes invasion of our borders whether by military opponents or peaceful people seeking a better life.

Individual freedom or the ability to choose belongs to each and every person.  I believe it is equally as important to protect the ability to choose for liberal citizens as it is for conservative citizens.  Unfortunately, how and when our freedoms are curtailed by law is where we run into conflict and disagreement.  This is why protecting individual freedom for all citizens is critical.  When we recognize that law is an instrument of force, we will see that government frequently uses law as a means of plunder, to suppress individual freedom and/or to justify the taking of life.

Individual freedom and personal choices are being stripped from us in every facet of our lives.  We see it in healthcare, finance, transportation and education.  It is difficult to find any area of life where the government has not stepped in and used the law to limit our liberty, personal choice and responsibilities for ourselves.

Now is the time to defend our individual freedoms and limit the constant encroachment of government.
